Madeline Hele
TUTORING OFFICER
Madeline Hele is a young, passionate first-year Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and IR) student at the Australian National University. As a former regional high school student and first-generation university student, Madeline is committed to her advocacy for education equality.
This commitment has been further demonstrated in her time as the Youth Minister for Education in the 2023 YMCA NSW Youth Parliament cohort, her current role as an advisory member of the Commonwealth Youth Gender Equality Network and her regional school's representative at the 28th National Schools Constitutional Convention.
Madeline’s determination and strong will drive her commitment to advocating for and actively working towards closing the educational gaps between rural and regional students to their metropolitan counterparts, and therefore, her work at ITE as a Tutoring Officer.
